Excursion to see the Neolithic Village and Royal Mound Tombs in Seoul, Korea, AUGUST, 2006
Terry and Eunice at the site of the Prehistoric Neolithic (3000-1000 BC) settlement Amsa-dong in Seoul

--
The reconstructed huts of the settlement and Terry inside one of the huts looking at the display of a family scene.
--
We are not sure why, but the Prehistoric Settlement Park had two ostriches on display
--
Walking back from the Park to the subway, we encountered this Buddha (on the left) and the Buddha like man (on the right) apparently overseeing a garden shop in Seoul.
The nest stop was the site of the Royal Tombs of past Kings of Korea. These mound tombs were built about the time that mounds were being built along the Mississippi River in what is now the USA. To preserve the mounds, the highway was built to pass under the site in the City.
--
Across the street from the Conference Center was a Buddhist Temple complex. Jacqueline Dussolin, Eunice, and Anna Maria Tommaro are in front of the temple entrance.

Eunice and Anna Maria explore the temple with its many lanterns. Note how close the modern city is to the Temple.
