In Search of Places Franz Kafka Lived and Visited in Prague, Czech Republic, March 1-4, 2002
Franz Kafka was born in Prague in 1883 and was
buried in the Jewish Cemetery in Prague in 1924.

Kafka lived most of his life around Old Town Square.
As a boy he lived in the upper floor of this building on the square.
There are many reminders of Kafka's presence.
Here on Franze Kafky street is a bust of Kafka.

Another address frequented by Kafka also was visited
by Albert Einstein, as the plaque on the way indicates.

And not too far away from these sites is the
Hotel Metamorphis, where Kafka may have written
his story about Gregor change from man to insect

In search of one of the last building that Kafka lived in,
it was discovered that today it is the American Embassy.
Kafka lived in an apartment on the 2d floor when it was
an apartment building.
But no trip is complete for Terry until he makes his Jim Morrison citing.
Here it is off Old Town Square on the way to the Charles Bridge that a
Jim Morrison flag is flying. (I wonder what Franz Kafka would think?)
