Hello! I am an academic library professional with an educational background in humanities, computer and information science, and education.

I have experience and skills in a variety of fields, including information management, web design, digital content creation and management, publishing, outreach, and teaching. I am looking for employment that will allow me to grow in these areas and challenge me to develop new skills on the road to success.

I am interested in careers in academic libraries, digital publishing, digital content creation, digital archiving, and digital preservation. I keep up with latest trends in these areas and am closely following the development of website, application, and social media curation and librarianship.

I am a proponent for access and believe that librarianship and archiving, digital or otherwise, is more than simply keeping stuff safe. I believe that information wants to be free and advocate for net neutrality. I believe information science professionals can play a part to redress the digital divide(s), between the well-to-do and the poor, between urban and rural communities, between able people and people with disabilities, and between whites and people of color.
