Baiba Holma

 I am a lecturer at the Department of Library Science and Information Science of the University of Latvia since 1991. My teaching subjects are: Information Processing: Classification, Subject Indexing, Coordinate Indexing, Automated Information Retrieval, Introduction in Information Science, Information Retrieval Languages, Information Centers, Services: Functions, Structure, Management. My research interests are linguistics aspects of knowledge organization. I am working also in the Fundamental Library of the Latvian University of Agriculture in the Marketing Department. My main responsibilities in the Library are library statistics and public relations.
