LENT Festival Events
Lent is the area of Maribor on the river Drava that was the river barge trade center. Here citizens are taken on a recreation of one of the barges that used to ply the trade on the Drava River at Maribor

Today there are many places along the river where food can be purchased and stages that present musical and other performances during the two week Lent Festival
